The former Uganda Cranes international has truly had a remarkable career playing at a top level.

Locally he’s played for clubs such as KCCA, Wakiso Giants, Lweza FC, Nalubaale and Horizon FC among.

Sserunkuma is mostly known for the 2017 Golden boot where he netted 21 goals for the Kasasiro boys.

NEC has seen the burden of scoring goals lie on the shoulders of their captain, Marvin Kavuma who has so far netted 7 goals.

The club also has other forwards such as Julius Walugembe and Derrick Ssekiranda.

The arrival of Sserunkuma and his experience would however help to take the burden off these players.

NEC so far have 27 points and are in second position.

They are only behind table leaders Kitara FC because of goals difference.
