Bebe Cool’s investment starts to pay off as son is included in final U20 AFCON squad

Musician Bebe Cool has always told how his son Alpha Thierry Ssali is an investment for the future especially for his football career.

And although it has stalled a little bit, it seems like it’s starting to pay off.

Alph has been included in the final U20 AFCON squad named by coach Jackson Mayanja.

The 25 man squad named by the coach will represent Uganda at the upcoming U20 AFCON tournament.

This squad is slated to depart Uganda for Egypt today where they play a couple of friendlies.

The AFCON U20 tournament is slated to take place from 19th February to 11th March 2023.

The Uganda Hippos were drawn in Group B alongside
Central African Republic, South Sudan, Congo.

Some of the surprise exclusions include Faisal Wabyoona and Pius Ssebulime who play for KCCA.

Wakiso Giants goalie Venacious Nsumba also didn’t make the final cut.

There have been some foreign based players included in the squad such as Ibrahim Juma, Kiano Kitariko, Abdu Shakur Ramsey Jemba and Shaun Ssenkubuge.
