New shocking details about Ghanaian footballer Christian Atsu emerge

February 15, 2023

New details have emerged about Ghanaian footballer Christian Atsu who plays for Turkish side Hatayspor.

Atsu is among the thousands of people in Turkey and Syria who got covered under the rubble. This followed a severe earthquake a week and a half ago.

Earlier sources had stated how he was found and eventually taken to hospital.

These reports despite coming from respected and credible sources have turned out to be false.

Atsu is still missing 10 days after the severe earthquake and hasn’t yet been found.

According to journalist George Addo Jr, Atsu’s agent confirmed that they have been able to locate the room the player was in.

This is after they found 2 pairs of his shoes.

Thermal imagery confirmed about existence of 5 lives.

Life however is detected through smell, sight and sound in this instance.

This agent added that rescue process is moving very slow.

Many lives are being lost as a result of this lack of resources.

The former Newcastle winger’s agent added that it’s unfortunate that Hatayspor which plays in the Turkish Super Lig is not on ground.

Atsu’s agent further asked for help from the club’s president and the mayor of the city.

Apparently this is to speed up the process of locating the Ghanaian.

His former teammates for the Ghana national team such as Asamoah Gyan have resorted to prayers in hopes of finding the former EPL star still alive.

“We’ve been able to locate Atsu’s exact room location, and we have found two pairs of his shoes. We received confirmation that thermal imagery was showing signs of up to 5 lives. However, real confirmation of life is through sight, smell and sound.”

“Things are moving incredibly slow and as a result of that many rescues are being delayed. And lives are being lost due to the lack of resources available to the workers. It is unfortunate that the club is not on the ground with us, side by side, in the search for Atsu”.

“Their position and influence, accompanied with their local knowledge would be extremely helpful. We implore the President of the club and mayor of Hatay, Lütfü Savaş to provide additional resources to speed up the rescue efforts as a priority”.
