Kitende based side Vipers SC have announced the signing of a new defender from Angola known as Nzau Miguel Lutumba.
Lutumba was signed by the Venoms before the January transfer window closed.
He however didn’t have the proper paperwork to play for the club.
The Angolan plays both as a defender and a central midfielder.
Lutumba who is 31 years old has spent a month training the Uganda Premier League champions at St Mary’s Kitende.
Sources from Kitende indicate that be put pen to paper on a 2 year deal joining from Muscat club which plays in the Oman Professional League.
Lutumba before playing in Oman played in Bangladesh for AFC Uttara.
He also played in his native Angola for teams such as Wiliet Sporting Club, Progresso and at Sporting Club Cabinda.
He will however have to tussle for a starting place with the likes of Murushid Juuko, Hilary Mukundane, Bashir Asiku, Livingstone Mulondo and youngster Rogers Torach.
