Kampala Queens officially became champions of 2022/2023 FUFA Women Super League after their convincing win of 2-0 against UCU lady Cardinals on 26th March at IUIU Grounds Kabojja.
Kampala Queens came into the game hunting only one point though they ended it in style with 3.
Bridget Nabisaalu‘s own goal in the 22nd minute gifted the home side the half time lead before Shamirah Nalugya doubled in the second half to send the home fans into wide celebrations.
The win pushed Kampala Queens to 40 points with still some 4 games to go, they are still unbeaten this season.
UCU lady Cardinals remained 4th with 20 points from 14 games.
In other games, defending Champions She Corporate defeated Olila High School 1-0 to move 5th on the log with 17 points.
