SC Villa moved on top of the table after defeating Busoga United 0-1 at Kakindu stadium on 31st March.
It was the first time for SC Villa to go on top this season.
Frank Muna Kalule scored the only goal for jogoos in the 81st minute.
Villa completed a double over Busoga United for the first time having won the first fixture 1-0 at Mutesa II Stadium.
Following the results, Villa moved on top with 37 points from 19 games, 2 points above KCCA despite playing 3 more games
On the other side, Busoga United dropped to Red Zone in the 13th place with 18 points from 19 games.
SC Villa will get back in action on 4th Tuesday as they will be hosting Soltilo Bright stars at Wankulukuku.
Busoga United will visit Oduparaka in Arua on the same date.
Action in Uganda premier league resumes today on 1st April with 2 games.
