Chelsea next probable manager revealed after sacking Graham Potter

Chelsea Football Club finally made the decision to sack headcoach Graham Potter after just a couple of months in charge.

The club thanked Potter for the contributions he’s had there.

The most significant was taking them to the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals where they will take on Real Madrid.

“Chelsea FC has announced that Graham Potter has departed the club. Graham has agreed to collaborate with the Club to facilitate a smooth transition. In his time with the club, Graham has taken us to the quarter final of the Champions League, where we will face Real Madrid. Chelsea would like to thank Graham for all his efforts and contribution and wish him well for the future.”

Bruno Saltor will now be the interim headcoach of the club as they look for a new headcoach.

And now transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano has it that Julian Nagelsmann is the favorite to replace Potter.

He’s highly rated by the London club’s co-owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali.

The club has already approached the German about this offer and talks are ongoing.

There were also links to former Tottenham and PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino but Romano debunked the rumors.

He added that talks seem to be already going on.

Sporting Lisbon coach Ruben Amorim is also in the mix as he’s appreciated by the club’s hierarchy.

For Pochettino, there are currently no talks between the two parties.

There are also talks of Potter’s successor at Brighton Roberto De Zerbi but Nagelsmann remains the top candidate.

Chelsea signed Potter from Brighton six months ago forking out 21m pounds to The Seagulls.
