Shut up and stop crying- Palmeiras coach tells Erik ten Hag

April 11, 2023

The coach of Brazilian outfit Palmeiras Abel Ferreira is not happy with Manchester United’s coach Erik ten Hag baby cries. Ten Hag in press briefing after the 2-0 win against Everton complained about the heavy fixture of his team.

This was after his star player Marcus Rashford was withdrawn in the game following an injury. Fears have mounted amongst United fans over this injury.

It’s said that Rashford might spend a couple of weeks on the sidelines. This will include missing ties such as the Quarter final clash against Sevilla in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday.

Ten Hag blamed the injury on the tight fixture in which his club is set to play 9 fixtures in the month of April. They have so far played two including a 2-0 loss at St James’ Park to Newcastle.

Ferreira wasn’t happy with Ten Hag’s whining and said that Palmeiras is going to have 9 games per month for the next two seasons. He therefore shouldn’t complain because he’s not the only one in such a scenario. All he has to do is focus and do his job.

“Football here has fantastic things… But there are others that are inhuman,” Ferreira is quoted as saying by ESPN Brasil, via Sport Witness.

“Nine games in one month! The Manchester United coach complained the other day that Rashford was injured due to the sequence of games he has.

“I’d like to ask him or tell him: ‘In these next two months, I’m going to have nine games a month…’ Shut up, because you don’t know what you say.”

This is not the first time coaches in Europe’s top 5 leagues are complaining about many games especially England. Meanwhile Manchester United has played many games than any side in Europe’s top 5 leagues.
