Forward Mahad Kayondo joins big European side

Credible sources can reliably confirm that striker Mahad Mahrez Kayondo has joined a big football European side.

And this is none other than Clubul Sportiv al Armatei Steaua Bucuresti.

The striker has played in Romania for a couple of years.

He was in ACS Poli for 2 years between 2018-20.

Mahad Kayondo also played for the likes of CSC Ghiroda and CSM Deva.

The Ugandan while back in the country played for one club, Ndejje University FC in the FUFA Big League.

Kayondo will be wearing jersey number 89 and he’s already announced himself on the scene as he bagged 2 goals in a buildup game.

Mahad might not be so popular but he’s a brother to Uganda Cranes leftback, Aziz Kayondo.

Steaua Bucuresti is the most successful club in the country and even has a UEFA Champions League won in the 1985-86 season.

Among other honors the club has is the UEFA Super Cup won in 1986.

Steaua Bucuresti also has 20 Romania League titles and 20 Romanian cups which are the most by any club in the country.

The club has a 31,254 seater stadium known as Stadionul Steaua.

This club was started in 1947 and is found in the Romanian capital of Bucharest.

It has spent it’s entire 75 years in the top flight league.
