Here is the reason Cristiano Ronaldo faces deportation from Saudi Arabia

Portuguese football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has drawn more controversies and criticism at the twilight of his career than he’s done on the pitch. The Al Nassr captain now faces deportation from the Middle East country.

This is after a lawyer Nouf bin Ahmed  wants the footballer to be deported immediately following his recent reaction. Walking off the pitch during his team’s 2-0 loss to Al Hilal, Ronaldo appeared to insult the home fans.

In a video that has surfaced online, Ronaldo grabbed his crotch as if to insult the Al Hilal fans. These were chanting his football arch rival, Lionel Messi‘s name.

‘It is considered a crime of public dishonor, and it is one of the crimes that entails arrest and deportation if committed by a foreigner,’ Ahmed said on Twitter, as she vowed to file a complaint to the Saudi Prosecutor’s Office for his ‘crime of public indecency’.

The 5 time Ballon D’or is also facing heavy criticism from Saudi Arabian journalists. And these are calling for his deportation for his immoral gesture towards fans.

Al Nassr have however come to the defies of their player. They said that this wasn’t intentional or directed to the Al Hilal fans. It was rather because he had ‘received a blow during the match’ to his genitals.

Nigerian and former Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo was the hero as his side came out on top. He netted a brace via the penalty spot. Ronaldo was again in this match embroiled in a controversy.

This is after he attempted a WWE move against one of his opponents. Referee Michael Oliver was lenient to him and only booked him in an incident that could have had him sent off.

While furiously storming off the pitch, the fans started chanting Messi Messi Messi.’ This definitely infuriated him and he grabbed his crotch and looked up to the fans inside the King Fahd International Stadium
