Former Vipers coach Robertinho time at Simba becomes worse

Former Vipers SC coach Robertinho is currently facing  a very tough time at his current club Simba S. This is after he was knocked out of the domestic cup in Tanzania.

Simba were beaten 2-1 by Azam after Lusajo Mwaikenda put his side ahead in the 22nd minute. The Msimbazi put up a spirited fight and Saido Kanoute  equalized for Robertinho‘s side.

However Prince Dube,scored a second for Azam in the 75th minute. And this was enough to knock Simba out of the Azam Sports Federation Cup.

Azam was however to see out the game in the dying minutes. They will play the winner between Khalid Aucho‘s Yanga and Matia Lule, Kiggundu Steven Billy and Shafik Batambuze’s Singida  Big Stars.

This looks like a second season that the Tanzanian giants are spending without a trophy. They have already exited the CAF Champions League.

In the League, Yanga looks set to retain their title. They are currently 7 points above Simba with just 3 games to end the season.
