Kampala Queens forcefully puts up Resty Nanziri up for sale

Champions of the FUFA Women’s Super League Kampala Queens seem to have fallen out with one of their star players, Resty Nanziri. The club has put her up for sale.

It is however the manner in which they have auctioned that has left people in shock. It should be noted that she was the top scorer for the just concluded women’s league and also won the player’s player of the season award.

Kampala Queens in a statement put on social media said that they had put her up for sale to create space for other upcoming players. The club that interested clubs should approach the club to get permission.

Fans however feel that there is more and clearly the player has fallen out with the club where she has played since 2018.-

Kampala Queens Football Club is calling for interested international and local clubs for the 2022/23 club top scorer.

Resty was the 2022/23 FUFA Women’s Super League 2nd Top Scorer.

Interested clubs should seek permission from the club that shall be granted to negotiate personal terms with the player. The reasons for the interest of the club putting up the player for sale is creating room for more players who are joining the club in that role.
