Chelsea forward Pierre Emerick Aubameyang has returned back from retirement and will feature for the Gabon national team in the upcoming AFCON qualifiers.
Aubamyenag saw his name included in the 23 man squad that will take on DR Congo in Franceville, Gabon next month. It took Gabon president Ali Bongo Ondimba to convince the former Arsenal and Barcelona striker to return from retirement.
The 33 year old a few months ago announced his retirement from the national fold. The one time Premier League golden boot winner will be looking to help the Panthers to qualify for the AFCON for a 9th time.
With 2 games to go, the West African country tops Group I with seven points, while Sudan, Mauritania and DR Congo follow with six, five and four points respectively.
Aubameyeng has had limited playing time at Chelsea this season after being frozen out of the squad.
