AFCON Qualifiers 2023: Algeria confirms 26 man squad to face Uganda

Head Coach at Algeria Djamel Belmadi has confirmed his 26 man squad to face Uganda in the coming AFCON qualifiers.

Among the summoned stars include Manchester City forward Riyad Mahrez who missed the first fixture that ended 2-0 in favour of Algeria in Algiers.

Other summoned stars are Said Benrahma who features for West Ham and Hossem Aouar of Olympique Lyon.

Islam Slimani and Nabil Bentaleb has also made the list.

Algeria tops Group F with 12 points from four games, Tanzania comes second with 4 points level with Uganda who comes third, Niger comes last with 3 points.

Algeria will have to first play Tunisia in a friendly game before playing Uganda on 18th of June at Japoma Stadium in Dubai.
