Ugandan Midfielder Shafiq Kagimu has officially joined North Macedonia topflight side FK Rabotnicki.
In North Macedonia Shafiq Kagimu joins Uganda Cranes defender Halid Lwaliwa who plays for FK Bregalnica Stip.
The former URA captain joined FK Rabotnicki as a free agent following the expiration of his working contract at Kenyan Giants Gor Mahia.
During his stay at Gor Mahia last season, he helped the side win the Kenyan Premier League.
Johnathan Mckinstry and Gor Mahia opted for new energy hence not renewing Kagimu’s contract.
Kagimu’s new side FK Rabotnicki have been champions of North Macedonia 10 times.
Last season, FK Rabotnicki finished 8th on the 12 team table with 37 points from 30 games.
FK Rabotnicki hopes Shafiq Kagimu will boost the offensive department as the team will be seeking for a better season than the last one.
FK Rabotnicki kicks off the league with Makedonija Gjorce Petrov on Saturday 20th, August in Skopje.
