Former Vipers Midifielder Olivier Osomba joins DRC Congo’s AS Vita

Former Vipers Defensive midifielder Olivier Osomba has joined Democratic Republic of Congo’s Giants AS Vita.
Oliver Osomba signed a two year working contract with the Congolese side.
He was among the players that were released by Vipers in Squad Shake up that was in June.
The Congolese who had joined Vipers SC at the start of 2022/2023 from Burundi’s Aigie Noir had his stay cut short.
However with his short stay at Vipers (1year), he helped Vipers SC reach their first group stages of CAF Champions league.
Further he also helped Vipers win their first ever double both the Uganda Premier League and the Uganda Cup.
He will be playing for the third team in DR Congo having had stints at AS Nyuki twice in 2013-2015 as well in 2017- 2018 and AS Dauphins Noirs in 2015- 2017.
The midfielder has also featured for other sides including US Tataounie of Tunisia in 2018-2019, Al Najma of Bahrain in 2019-2020, Etinchelles FC Barcelona of Rwanda in 2020-2021 and Aigle Noir of Burundi in 2021-2022.
His new side had qualified for CAF Champions League preliminary round but were eliminated by Angola’s Premeiro de Agosto on a 2-1 aggregate score.
