Manchester United finally about to land Sofyan Amrabat

August 31, 2023

Manchester United and Erik Ten Hag seem like they are about to land one of their transfer targets, Sofyan Amrabat. The Algerian has been on United’s radar since June.

Sofyan Amrabat was one of the best performers in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar where he put up eye catching performances.

A number of big European clubs such as Barcelona expressed interest in him but it seems like it’s United that is set to land his signature.

Unlike earlier talks of a loan deal, United haven’t sent any. The club’s are still locked in informal talks with United preparing to launch a formal bid.

It’s however reported that the Italian club would be open to a loan option but with an obligation to buy clause.

The midfielder has been waiting for Erik Ten Hag’s side since June. He’s been left out of the club’s opening Serie A games as it’s said he’s also pushing for the move.

United have so far signed striker Rasmus Hojlund and Mason Mount in the transfer window but all have been ruled out with injuries.

The Red Devils start to the 2023-24 season has been a bit shaky amd they will play Arsenal in the next fixture on Sunday 3rd September.
