Juventus and French midfielder Paul Pogba has allegedly tested positive for the use of testosterone. According to yet to be confirmed sources, it’s said that after random samples from Juventus’ opening game against Udinese, the player’s turned out positive.
However, Juventus, Serie A and the Italian Football Federation are yet to clarify on these doping allegations.
The former Manchester United player has seen his career plagued with injuries in the past few years. He’s yet to start a game for the Old Lady.
However, he’s made cameo appearances in the games against Bologna and Empoli. If he’s found guilty, the Frenchman will be brought before the National Anti-Doping Tribunal.
If found guilty, Paul Pogba will face a ban from football for a period of 2 years and if he took it knowingly, it could extend to 4 years.
It’s waited to see if Massimiliano Allegri will include him in his squad in the game to face Lazio on the weekend.
