Manchester United are going to pay for our loss to Arsenal – Pep Guardiola

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has said that Manchester United are going to pay for their loss to Arsenal in the English Premier League. Arsenal beat Man City 1-0 courtesy of a Gabriel Martinelli goal in the 86th minute following an assist from Kai Havertz.

The Gunners ended a 12 match losing streak against the current League champions. Mikel Arteta handed City their second loss of the season in just 8 games.

City hadn’t lost 2 straight losses since 2018. While reacting to this loss, Pep said that they are behind but there are many games to go. He added that the same thing happened last season but they eventually caught up and won the league.

Furthermore, he said that his key players such as Kevin de Bruyne and Rodri will be coming back soon. They wil therefore beat their opponents in the coming games such as Manchester United and Brighton.

There won’t be any league Acton until 21st October as football goes into the international break. Manchester City will be back in action on the 21st by playing Brighton. They will then play Manchester United at Old Trafford on the 29th of October.

Tottenham and Arsenal are now the joint table leaders with 20 points after 8 games. Both the North London clubs are the only unbeaten teams in the league.
