Arsenal who are in the second position will go top of the league once again if they manage to scoop three points. Following Liverpool‘s 2-0 win over Burnley, the Kops have 42 points compared to Arsenal’s 40 although the Gunners have a game in hand.

With the crunch clash of the London Derby coming ahead, below we take a look at some of the key news from both sides.

Arteta won’t be having Kai Havertz. This is after the German picked up his fifth yellow card of the season. The Gunners also won’t be with Thomas Partey, Jurrien Timber, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Fabio Vieira. The good news is that however both Partey and Tomiyasu will be available for the FA Cup game against Liverpool.

This will be on January 7 before the duo go on to represent their countries in the respective Continental tournaments.

For West Ham, they won’t be with striker Michail Antonio and Maxwell Cornet. Former Gunners keeper, Lukasz Fabianski could return from injury. Nayef Aguerd could return to replace another former Arsenal player for the Hammers, Dinos Mavropanos.

Probable Lineups for both teams:-

Arsenal
Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Odegaard, Jorginho, Rice; Saka, Jesus, Martinelli

West Ham United
Areola; Coufal, Zouma, Aguerd, Emerson; Soucek, Alvarez; Kudus, Ward-Prowse, Paqueta; Bowen.
