Full Uganda Cranes Squad for the AFCON double against South Susan

A team of 27 Uganda Cranes members has been selected by Paul Joseph Put to play South Sudan in the forthcoming AFCON Qualifiers.
The two KCCA players, Shafik Nana Kwikiriza and Derrick Nsibambi, who attracted Put’s attention in the Uganda Premier League’s opening matches, make up the team.

Taddeo Lwanga, who last played for the Cranes in a 2-0 victory over Niger during the previous qualifying campaign last year, also makes a comeback.

Shaban Muhammad, a striker for Al Hilal Benghazi, is out due to injury.

On Friday, October 11, South Sudan will play host to Uganda in Namboole. On Tuesday, October 15, South Sudan will play their return leg in Juba.

On Sunday, October 6, the team is anticipated to leave for a residential camp.
