URA defender Derrick Ndahiro suspended by FUFA for offensive language

December 12, 2022

FUFA has revealed how URA FC’s defender Derrick Ndahiro has been suspended for the next two games due to offensive language.

FUFA through their official Twitter page revealed how they relied on evidence from match reports gathered from the game between URA and Blacks Power FC last week.

It’s said that Ndahiro lashed out at the second assistant referee using abusive and insulting words.

Ndahiro is therefore suspended for two competitive games effective from today 12th December 2022.

URA has been directed to make sure that this resolution is adhered to.

“The FUFA CDP relied on match reports which state that in UPL match 73 URA FC vs Blacks Power FC played on Friday 2nd December, player No.13 Derrick Ndahiiro abused the 2nd assistant referee using offensive language and insulting words.

The panel therefore suspends Ndahiiro Derrick for two competition matches effective immediately as of 12th December 2022. The management of the club is directed to ensure implementation of the above sanction,” said FUFA on their official Twitter page.

He will miss the game on Saturday as the tax collectors host SC Villa who are in scintillating form and also the game as they visit struggling Onduparaka.

URA currently sit in the 11th position with 13 points after 12 games.

They haven’t won a game in the last 5 outings. They have lost once to Vipers and drawn the other 4 games.
