Lawal joined the Venoms at the beginning of this season as a free agent from AS Kigali.
Lawal who was Vipers 8th signing in the summer transfer window told how he wanted Vipers to achieve their objectives.
“I feel happy and at home. They have showed me love ever since l arrived here,” Lawal told Vipers Media in his first interview.
“I’m here to give my best. I know the club hasn’t been in the CAF Champions League group stages. So, am here to help and fight to make that dream come true, In Sha Allah.”
Sadly this hasn’t come to pass as he’s barely made any impact at St Mary’s Kitende.
Lawal was barely used by former Vipers coach Robertinho.
And he doesn’t seem to be in the plans of new coach Beto Bianchi.
It’s therefore only proper that they cancel his contract mutually.
Besides, Vipers has also already signed a new forward in the January transfer window.
