According to the latest transfer rounds, Uganda Premier League side URA FC is set to add a new player to the ranks.
And this is none other than winger Joseph Ssemujju.
The player is said to be a free agent now after his contract with Mbeya FC in Tanzania expired.
This one year deal was not renewed by the side.
And these sources state that Ssemujju will pen a 2 year contract with the tax collectors.
Prior to joining Mbeya FC, Ssemujju was playing for UPL side, BUL FC.
He won the Stanbic Uganda cup with BUL and left the club in January 2022.
During his stay with the soap makers, he netted 18 goals in his 2 year stint.
Ssemujju has previously played for several clubs in Uganda including Vipers SC, Proline FC, SC Villa and Express FC.
He also played for the U23 national team.
The winger also in 2019 went on a 2 month trial with Polish side Legia Warsaw.
Sam Timbe’s side have been so active in this transfer window and have already made 3 signings.
Bruno Bunyaga from Bushenyi Veterans, former SC Villa midfielder Nicholas Kabonge and Joshua Lubwama Letti from Wakiso Giants are these players.
The club also yesterday announced the appointment of Fred Muhumuza as the assistant coach.
Muhumuza who has been the Tooro Province coach replaced Baker Mbowa.
In the club’s departures, it has been Derrick Nsibambi who joined Al Basheer SC in Oman.
