Not Arsenal, Manchester City, Barca or Bayern- Pep Guardiola names best current club in the world

One of the things Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola is good at is mind games. One day he’s saying this and the next day he’s saying another.

And with Arsenal 6 points ahead of him although he’s got a game in hand, the Spaniard has stared the games.

Pep has come out to mention the best team in the world currently. He has all season had immense compliments of his title contenders Arsenal.

However they aren’t the best team according to him based on current form in the world. And neither is it the former club’s he’s coached Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

It also isn’t Napoli who look on course to win their first in Scudetto since Diego Maradona‘s days in 1986.

According to the Spaniard, it’s fellow Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion. The 4 time EPL winner said that Brighton are currently the best team when it comes to buildup from the back.

The Seagulls have so far played 28 games and have 46 points and are in contention for European football next season if they can maintain their form.

Further the club has lost a number of their staff and palyers but their impressive run has continued. They lost Marc Cucurella to Chelsea at the start of the season. Yves Bissouma also left to Tottenham Hotspurs.

They then lost their coach Graham Potter to Chelsea in the middle of the season though he was later sacked by the Blues.

The club would later on lose their top scorer Leandro Trossard to Arsenal in the January transfer window. Also not forgetting that Moises Caicedo almost left to the Gunners.

Their current coach Roberto de Zerbi has also been subject to transfer speculation. Brighton still has tp play the two title contenders, Manchester City and Arsenal
