Newly promoted Uganda League Premier side Kitara FC are looking to prize away Gaddafi Modern FC head coach Wasswa Bbosa. This follows the departure of their head coach, Sam Ssimbwa.
Ssimbwa had joined the Hoima based side on a short term deal following the dismissal of Mark Twinamatsiko over unprofessionalism. Sources have it that the club from the oil rich Hoima is also looking at another coach in Kefa Kisala.
However, Kitara will have to act quickly as Mbarara City FC is also said to be interested in Wasswa Bbosa following the exit of Sadiq Sempigi.
Further sources add that the former Express manager could quit his job at Gaddafi. This is due to lack of enough funding.
Wasswa Bbosa won the 2020-21 league title with Express FC. He also led them to the CECAFA KAgame cup.Previously, he’s coached teams such as SC Villa and the Ndiga clan in the Bika Bya Baganda football tournament.
