Uganda Cranes under the guidance of Morley Byekwaso lost their second consecutive International Friendly game to Zambia.
Uganda came into the game after suffering a 1-0 loss to Mali in the first International Friendly game.
Morley didn’t do many changes from the team that started at Mali.
Ibrahim Juma, Joel Mutakubwa and Elvis Bwomono all were given chances to start the game.
Zambia started the better side and this paid off in the 6th minute when Patson Daka netted in from a penalty spot.
In the 63rd minute, Sakala doubled the lead for Zambia before Patson Daka completed his brace in the 69th minute.
Zambia qualified through to African Cup of Nations, and we’re put in group F with DR Congo, Morocco and Tanzania.
Meanwhile Uganda failed to qualify and instead are preparing for upcoming World Cup qualifiers that begin next month.
Uganda are in group G alongside Algeria, Guinea, Mozambique, Botswana and Somalia.
