Jose Mourinho Makes Fun Of Tottenham Hotspurs. It seems like Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho has never gotten over the fact that Tottenham sacked him before a final.
It should be noted that Mourinho managed the north London club for two years where he had mixed results and time.
Apparently the former Chelsea and Manchester United manager was fired a few days to the Carabao cup final. He was replaced with Ryan Mason but unfortunately, they lost 1-0 to Manchester City.
While speaking about it, Mourinho said that this was unbelievable. This is because Tottenham’s trophy cabinet has been empty for long. Therefore there is no way they should have sacked him in the build up to a final.
“Tottenham was a club that has an empty trophy room and then sacks me two days before a final. I mean, come on…”, he said on a podcast.
Mourinho also once said that amongst the clubs he’s managed, it’s only Tottenham that he doesn’t have a bond with.
The Portuguese has managed FC Porto, Chelsea on two occasions, Real Madrid, Inter Milan, Manchester United, Spurs and currently AS Roma. Jose Mourinho Makes Fun Of Tottenham Hotspurs.
