Uganda Cranes midfielder Bobosi Byaruhanga has finally landed a club to play for after speculation mounting over his future.
The midfielder will be playing for Major League Soccer (MLS) Next Pro outfit Austin FC II on a season long loan.
Bobosi Byaruhanga has not featured for any club since bringing his time with Vipers to an end after the 2021-22 season.
Byaruhanga was rumored to have joined an overseas club although this wasn’t clear.
UAE outfit Elite Falcons FC was rumored to have signed him but he never went there.
Then Czech Republic league MFK Vyskov which plays in the second tier was rumored to have signed him.
Bobosi however never played for them nor step there.
It however has turned out that it was Vyskov which signed him as it sanctioned the loan deal to FC Austin.
“Announcing the first-ever Austin FC II signings is an exciting step as the team continues to build toward its inaugural season,” Sean Rubio the Director of Player Personnel at Austin FC II was quoted by the club website.
“Bobosi Byaruhanga, David Rodriguez, and Cheick Toure are all top young players who we hope will have ample opportunity to continue their development in Austin.”

Austin FC II plays in the third tier of American soccer and is the development side of Austin FC which plays in the MLS.
Byaruhanga who is touted as one of the great talents in the Country won two titles with Vipers.
He was also recently linked to Tanzanian giants, Simba SC and Yanga Africans.
