It seems like Uganda Cranes midfielder Paul Mucureezi might go from being a red back to being a red.
This is after the attacking midfielder took to flirting with Express FC on Twitter.
The Wankulukuku based side posted a hello to Mucureezi and tagged him.
Mucureezi also didn’t hold back the fun as he flirted back.
Express continued the flirting by requesting to have some tea with him.
It should be recalled that Mucureezi is currently a free agent.
This is after his contract with Kitende based side Vipers ended.
And the midfielder who barely had an impact at St Mary’s due to injuries didn’t see it renewed.
Mucureezi who has previously played for KCCA and Mbarara City is therefore looking for a club to play for when the UPL resumes next month.
Express are yet to get busy in the ongoing window despite their rivals beefing up their squads.
The Mukwano Gwabangi side has already lost attacking midfielder Martin Kiiza to Vipers.
And an addition of Paul Mucureezi with his vast experience wouldn’t be bad for James Odoch’s side.
It’s therefore expected that very soon Express will officially announce Mucureezi as their new player.
Express FC currently lie in the 9th position.
They have collected 17 points from 14 games.
Express will resume their second half of the season by hosting UPDF at 11th February at the Muteesa II stadium.
