Kitende based football club Vipers SC has listed a 20 man squad to take on Tanzanian giants Simba SC.
This will be in the second leg of the double header between the two sides in the CAF Champions League .
The Msimbazi won the first leg at St Mary’s Kitende by a goal to nil and the Venoms will be hoping for miracle in Tanzania.
The game will be played tomorrow 7th March 2023 at the Uhuru stadium.
Brazilian coach Beto Bianchi will be without a number of key players such as defenders Murushid Juuko, Disan Galiano.
Midfielders Bright Anukani, Marvin Joseph Youngman and forward Karim Ndugwa won’t also be available for the game.
According to the Vipers injury updates, Juuko suffered an ankle injury in the game against Wakiso Giants in the UPL.
Disan Galiwango and Marvin Youngman are still recovering front their long term injuries.
Ndugwa is cap tied as he played for BUL in the CAF Confederations Cup before joining Vipers in January.
Winger Anukani meanwhile has been out of training for a week as he suffers from malaria.
Skipper Milton Karisa has made the traveling squad after he suffered a hamstring injury in the first leg.
The club will however welcome back Isa Mubiru from a one game suspension which he served against Simba.
The Venoms are yet to score a goal in the 3 groupstage games they have so far played.
They have also swallowed 6 goals and sit bottom of the table with just one point.
