Vipers officially replaces Bianchi with Alex Isabirye

Vipers SC have officially replaced their sacked coach Beto Bianchi with Alex Isabirye who has been at BUL FC.

Bianchi was sacked last week at Vipers following unconvincing results. This included a double loss in CAF champions league against Tanzanian giants Simba SC.

“Vipers SC have wrapped up the Capture of experienced tactician Alex Isabirye from Uganda Premier League side BUL FC ” reads part of the statement on the club website.

“The gaffer comes in as a direct replacement for the recently released Beto Bianchi, who parted ways with the club towards the end of last week “.

Alex Isabirye will work with Richard Wasswa, Ibrahim Mugisha, and Kato Ibrahim as his assistants.

Isabirye revealed how happy he is to join the club.

” l am very excited to be here and look forward to meeting and working with the exciting group of players and to develop a team and culture that our amazing fans can be”.

Isabirye will again work with Karim Ndugwa as it was at BUL FC.

Isabirye will be tasked to guide Vipers back on track

His first task will be to guide Vipers pass Wakiso Giants in Stanbic Uganda Cup in the round of 16.

In Uganda premier league, Vipers are currently 4th with 7 points below the table leaders KCCA FC

In CAF champions league, they are last in group C with 1 point.
