Two fixtures in the Uganda Premier League have been postponed by the Uganda Premier League secretariat due to the national team engagements.
These included the mouthwatering clash between table leaders and KCCA and Vipers SC.
This game was scheduled for 21st March at St Mary’s Kitende.
Another game that has been pushed ahead include the clash between URA FC and Busoga United.
The game was due on the 19th of March.
The league’s rules state that if a team has more than 3 players summoned to the national team, then games involving these clubs can be postponed.
Siraje Ssentamu, Rogers Torach and Livingston Mulondo are in the Cranes squad summoned by Micho for the AFCON qualifiers.
For KCCA, Allan Okello, Geoffrey Wasswa and Rogers Mato are all in this same squad.
URA has Derrick Ndahiro, Nafian Alionzi and James Begisa in this squad.
The dates for the new games are yet to be communicated by UPL.
The Cranes are set to host Tanzania in Egypt on the 24th of March.
A return leg will then be played 4 days later in Tanzania.
