Ugandan striker Patrick Kaddu was the owner of the day yesterday as he bagged a hattrick on his debut for Kenyan giants Gor Mahia.
This was as his side thrashed Vihiga Bullets 5-0 in the league at Kasarani.
The former Kitara FC forward’s goals came in the second half.
Kaddu not only scored but also assited the other 2 goals scored by Peter Lwasa and Austin Odhiambo.
After joining the club in January, he was yet to feature for them due to a FIFA ban but was training with them.
The club was however cleared by FIFA a few days ago and this helped them register 8 new players.
Among these was former URA FC captain Shafik Kagimu who signed on a short term deal.
He also made his debut for the club under former Uganda Cranes coach Jonathan McKinstry.
The win cemented Gor Mahia‘s position at the top with 45 points from 21 games.
Vihiga Bullets on the other hand remained bottom of the table.
