KCCA FC surprised at Lugogo by Maroons as URA returns to winning ways

KCCA FC had a 1-1 draw with Maroons FC at MTN Omondi stadium on 1st April.

Fred Amaku scored first for Maroons in the 9th minute when he rose high, a credit goes to Ceaser Olega who delivered from the right.

KCCA FC equalised matters in the 45th minute through Rogers Mato who replied well to Allan Okello‘s cross.

KCCA continued to look for a winner though Maroons goalkeeper Simon Tamale had his day.

The results leaves KCCA FC in the 2nd place with 36 points, 1 point below the table leaders SC Villa though the Jogoos have played more 2 games.

On the other hand Maroons dropped to 8th place with 26 points from 19 games.

In the other game, URA bounced back to winning ways following their recent defeat 2-1 to Busoga United.

URA defeated Soltilo Bright stars 2-0 at Kavumba Recreation Grounds.

There results pushed URA in the 5th place with 26 points from 19 games.

Soltilo Bright stars dropped to 10th place with 24 points from 18 games.
