Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey takes swipe at Manchester United’s loss to Newcastle

Arsenal’s Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey has appeared to taunt Manchester United fans in a recent video that was posted on social media by Ghanaian media personality Nana Aba. Partey and Nana appeared together in a restaurant in London for dinner.

Nana who had a camera recording tilted the phone to Partey before telling Arsenal fans about how she was having their ‘super duper’ midfileder.

The media personality asked the Black Stars captain to say something but he hesitated. Partey then went ahead to invite everyone to come for food in celebration of Manchester United‘s loss to Newcastle.

It should be noted that the Red Devils lost to Newcastle on Sunday 2-0 courtesy of goals from Joe Willock and Calum Wilson. And following Tottenham Hotspurs draw to Everton, the Carabao cup winners moved out of the top 4.

Meanwhile, Nana whose Twitter bio shows that she’s a Manchester United fan appeared in disbelief at Partey’s swipe. It was however friendly and nothing offensive about it.

Fans of both Manchester United and Arsenal have now taken to the tweet to exchange views about it. Partey has been one of the outstanding performers of the London based club as they sit top of the Premier League with 72 points after 29 games.

Arsenal will be looking to win the league title after 19 years. Currently they are 8 points clear at the top ahead of Manchester City who have a game in hand.

The Gunners have a huge task aead of them on Sunday as they visit Liverpool at Anfield. If they manage to win this game, Mikel Arteta‘s side will have made a huge statement.
