April 10, 2023

KCCA FC had their third consecutive draw after their 1-1 draw with UPDF on MTN Philip Omondi stadium.

In their first game played under Floodlights, Douglas Oyirowoth scored late for UPDF to deny KCCA maximum points.

But before, Tshisungu Kankonde who replaced Julius Poloto in the second half scored for the home side in the 57th minute.

KCCA had chances to double the lead but were wasteful on the day and utilised none.

This was the third consecutive draw for KCCA. A result SC Villa and Vipers SC would be proud of.

KCCA are now five points below table leaders SC Villa though have 2 less games.

On the other side UPDF remained 12th on the log with 22 points.

Any result from Busoga Vs Onduparaka tie today doesn’t affect them.

KCCA FC will resume back in Startimes Uganda Premier League with a trip to Lugazi against URA FC.

The fans have bow turned onto their manager Morley Byekwaso and want him out of the club. These say that with the talent at his disposal, they can’t be below a weak SC Villa.
