Startimes Uganda Premier League: Gadaffi FC targets revenge on Wakiso Giants

Jinja based side Gadaffi FC are eying for revenge as they will be host Wakiso Giants today on 18th April at Kakindu stadium.

The first game at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium ended 2-0 in favour of the home side. Thanks to goals from Shariph Kimbowa and Rahmat Ssenfuka.

Gaddafi’s assistant coach Hassan Zungu reveals how the team is prepared enough to continue winning.

“We’re prepared enough and need to carry on with the winning momentum after winning our previous game “.

“We have to be consistent in the remaining games. Our problem was scoring goals because we were creating the chances but failing to convert them”.

Apparently Wakiso Giants comes into the game with out Paul Willa, Apollo Kagogwe and Titus Ssematimba who are all injured.

However forward Norman Ogik could return from the injury having missed the previous games for Wakiso Giants.

Meanwhile Wakiso Giants comes into the game looking for their first win in 7 games.

Gaddafi on the other side was pressured free by their last win over Bright stars having gone 5 with out a win.

Besides in their last three meetings, Wakiso Giants have won two and Gaddafi one.

Wakiso Giants are currently 9th on the Uganda Premier League log with 26 points from 21 games. A win could push them to 6th place if the other team’s results turn other way.

Gaddafi are in the 6th place with 28 points from 20 games, a win could directly take them in the 4th place.
