Crested Cranes midfielder Joan Nabirye joins Belarusian side

Crested Cranes midfielder Joan Nabirye has officially joined FC Minsk in Belarus. She was unveiled yesterday officially.

Until recently, Joan was featuring for Kampala QUENS WFC.

Joan Nabirye has been playing for Kampala Queens in thr FUFA Women’s Super League.
It should be noted that the player leaves Kampala Queens after just 3 months after she joined them at the end of the January transfer window.
This is not the first time that the holding midfielder is playing outside the borders of Uganda.
She’s previously played for Vihiga Queens in 2021. Nabirye’s career started from Kibuli SS before she went on to play for Muteesa I University and Asubo Gafford Ladies.
FC Minsk has won seven league titles, seven women’s cup and six super cups. This makes them one of the most successful clubs in the Belarusian women’s football.
Currently FC Minsk has 15 points from 5 games and currently sit in the second position.
