SC Villa looking to maintain tight grip on top of the UPL table

Uganda Premier League side, SC Villa will be looking to maintain a tight grip of the top spot as they visit Maroons FC at the Prison Grounds in Luzira.
The Jogoos wil be hoping to build on the fact that their closes rivals, KCCA dropped 2 points yesterday. This was after a 2-2 draw against Onduparaka.
Jackson Magera‘s side who have emerge as surprise contenders for the trophy however know the huge task that lies ahead of them i this game. The Prison Warders have forced both title contenders, Vipers and KCCA to drop points this season.
Apparently a win for the Jogoos will send them 4 points clear at the summit of the table. Maximum points will send Villa to 49 points, 4 above KCCA and 7 above Vipers.
However, this will mean that they have played 2 and 3 more games than KCCA and Vipers respectively. Maroons recent game was a 3-2 win against an on form URA.
Villa also are also reeling high in confidence after their 1-0 win over SC Villa. Meanwhile there are set to be 4 games today in total.
