SC Vila sweep April best performers nominations

Current leaders of the Uganda Premier League, SC Villa have swept the nominations for the best performers in the league for the just concluded month of April.
According to the organizers of these awards, Pilsner Lager, SC Villa coach Jackson Magera has been nominated for the best coach role. It should be noted that Magera has won the previous two awards.
The Jogoos played 5 games in the month of April. They won 3 against Solitilo Bright Stars, Wakiso Giants and Vipers. Their 2 losses were against Arua Hill and KCCA.
Magera will however have to tussle with the likes of Alex Isabirye of Vipers and James Odoch of Express FC. The Venoms under Isabirye played 6 games. They won 3, lost one and drew 2.
Express under Odoch played 4, won 2 and drew 2. For the best player monthly award Charles Bbaale (SC Villa) will battle Innocent Media (Arua Hill) and Shariph Kimbowa (Wakiso Giants).
Bbale scored 4 goals, Kimbowa and Innocent had 3 goals respectively. The winners will be announced soon and will pocket Shs 1m and a plaque.
