Kitara FC bag multi million sponsorship deal

FUFA Big League side Kitara FC have signed a multi million shillings deal with the sugar making company, Kinyara Sugar Limited.

The sugar company will be Kitara FC’s shirt sponsor until September 2023 in a deal worth Shs 50m.

It will therefore be the Kinyara Sugar logo across Kitara FC’S jerseys.

This is a huge boost for the club under coach Sam Ssimbwa as they fight to return to top flight football next season.

“We are excited to have Kinyara Sugar Limited on board, their arrival is indeed timely. They have given us 50 million Uganda shillings which will assist improve the finances of the club. This is as we continue to embark on returning to the top flight league.”

“Kinyara is one of the leading manufacturing companies not just in Bunyoro but also in the country. And we hope this partnership with them will help us grow our brand as well.” said Deo Kasozi the club president.

Kinyara Sugar has until recently been sponsoring golf before expanding to football.

“We are glad to be joining football and Kitara football club. We believe sports brings together communities and we want to continue impacting many lives though such initiatives.
“Therefore we are proud to be working with the best team in Bunyoro. And we are excited that our name will now be going beyond the region,” an elated Caroline Amongin said.
