Stanbic Uganda Cup: Police Vs Adjumani TC match preview

Two FUFA Big League sides Police FC and Adjumani TC are going to be clashing off in the first leg of one of the semifinals of the Stanbic Uganda Cup today 15th May 2023.

Police will host Adjumani at Kavumba Recreational Grounds. The Cops will be hoping to build on the momentum from their 1-0 win over Booma FC in the FUFA Big League.

Adjumani on the other hand lost 3-0 to Kitara FC. Enroute to the semis, Police knocked out Apuutun FC, Pajule Lions FC, Ndejje University FC and BUL FC.

This was in the round of 64, 32, 16 and quarterfinals respectively. On the other hand, Adjumani saw off Simba FC, Elite FC, Bunyaruguru FC and Express FC in the respective stages to get to this stage.

Police and Adjumani have met twice. This has been in the FUFA Big League ongoing season. All the two clashes ended in goalless draws.

Vipers will be hosting Soltilo Bright Stars in the other semifinal at St Mary’s Kitende on the 20th of May.

The second legs will be played on 26th May at Paridi Stadium with Adjumani hosting Police FC who are also looking for promotion to the Star Times Uganda Premier League for the 2023-24 season.
