Here Are Arsenal’s Probable Round Of 16 Opponents In The UCL. Groupstages of the UEFA Champions League came to an end last night and the 16 teams which qualified for the last 16 have been confirmed.

Apparently England saw only two teams qualify for the KOs in Arsenal and Manchester City. Both topped their groups while Newcastle and Manchester United ended bottom in their respective groups.

Only Real Madrid and Manchester City won all the six games maintaining a 100 percent record. AC Milan couldn’t qualify for the groupstages despite a 2-1 win over Newcastle at St James Park.

A 1-1 dare between Borussia Dortmund and PSG ensured the Parisians go through instead on a better head to head. Bayern Munich, RB Leipzig and Dortmund qualified from the groups.

Lazio, Inter Milan and Napoli from Italy qualified to the knockouts. Real Sociedad, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid from Spain made it to the knockouts. Sevilla which has qualified because of the Europa League trophy didn’t make it out.

Apparently the round of 16 draw will be held on Monday as the decides fixtures will be played in February next year. For Arsenal who always found it hard to advance past the RO16, they might get an easy draw this time round.
