Latest UPL transfer gossip as KCCA and Vipers confirm new signings

A number of clubs are getting busy in the January transfer window in the Uganda Premier League.

Some of these have already added new players to their ranks while others are still trying to persuade players to join them.

Here is all the transfer round-up in the league.

, Uganda Cranes left back Mustafa Kizza has rejoined KCCA FC after his contract with AC Arouca of Portugal was terminated last year. An official announcement is expected in the next few days from now.

The left back is said to have turned down Vipers in favor of his old club.

Vipers have reportedly agreed a 2 year contract with BUL striker Karim Ndugwa.

Ndugwa who is one of the topscorers of the UPL signed a one year contract with BUL in January in 2021 January and has been a free agent now although still with BUL.

Sources also state that midfielder Paul Mucureezi could be eying a move away from Vipers.

The attacker has been sidelined for several months due to injury.

Tanzanian club Simba FC continues to be linked with Vipers forward Yunus Sentamu.

Also in the speculation with the Tanzanian club is KCCA winger Allan Okello who is on loan from Algerian side AC Paradou.

Further, they are also linked with Vipers captain Milton Karisa.

And with former Vipers coach Robertinho at the club, he could move to prize away some of the players who were key to his success with the Venoms.
