The Brazilian tactician who was at the helm of Vipers since 10th January 2023 had the sack imminent after woeful results.
He played 6 games and failed to win any of them. What’s however shocking is that Vipers failed to find the back of the net on all occasions.
Although these results did indeed spell doom for Bianchi, it was rather his mentality that had him facing the exit door.
He had a lower mentality which it seem he was transferring to his players.
According to sports enthusiast and Proline CEO Mujib Kasule, Bianchi told Vipers hierarchy that the current crop of players were so bad.
He in fact added that even if th club bought Roma coach Jose Mourinho, there is nothing he would milk out of them.
This alone showed that he had already alienated his players and he didn’t believe in them.
“When asked about the current results and poor performances of the team, Bianchi intimated to his bosses that, “with this crop of players even if you brought mourinho, the results would not change” meaning that he had gone to war with his own players. The man sacked himself.”
Vipers for now has no coach and haven’t yet provided a further update on who they might appoint next.
There are calls for a local coach with ex KCCA coach Mike Mutebi the one in the picture.
The club plays Wakiso Giants in the Uganda Premier League on Tuesday.
