Uganda Cranes forward Fahad Bayo bagged his first goal for his new Czech Republic side MFK Vyskov in a 1-1 draw against Slezsky FC Opava in the Czech Republic second tier.
The forward’s goal came as early as the 8th minute after firing from close range.
Milos Kopencny however equalized for the visitors in the 85th minute as both teams shared the spoils.
The Cranes forward was then replaced in the 90th minute by Jaromic Srubek.
Bayo plays in MFK Vyskov alongside another Ugandan Musa Ramathan Farjala.
Musa Ramathan despite returning from a long season loan from Cincinnati FC in USA is yet to feature for the club.
MFK Vyskov are three points behind table leaders FK Pribram in 31 points and sit in second.
According to the league’s rules, the first team gains automatic qualification to the top tier.
The second and third team go to the play offs to decide who joins the top league.
Meanwhile Bayo is among the 30 man squad named by Uganda Cranes coach Milutin Sredojevic aka Micho for the AFCON double header against neighbors Tanzania.
