Micho to be sacked immediately before Tanzania return leg
March 25, 2023
According to inside sources coming in, Uganda Cranes coach Milutin Sredojevic aka Micho is reportedly facing the axe following the loss to Tanzania.
In a game that was thought to be a sure win for the Cranes, they bottled it and lost 1-0 in Egypt at the Suez Canal Authority stadium.
These sources state that Micho is set be relieved of his duties as the national team’s coach.
These same sources state that he might not be the head coach of Uganda Cranes as the team takes on Tanzania in the return leg in Dar es Salaam on 28th this month.
However, some members of the association and team want him to first handle this game. His future can then be discussed.
“There is a plan to let Micho leave his job as a National team coach with immediate effect. Though some members want him to lead the Cranes away in Tanzania on Tuesday. There is no single chance that he will remain the head coach it’s now an open secret he will leave,” an inside source revealed.
Many Ugandans through social media are currently calling for the Serbian to be sacked.
A lot wonder why in the first place he was even brought back in the first place.
This is because his tactics are stuck in the past amd he’s not willing to learn.
“Micho’s philosophy & tactics haven’t moved forward, but football has. He’s become a dinosaur. Football has moved on but Micho’s tactics are 20yrs behind. He’s a dinosaur who is out of place in modern game – he’s too stubborn and unwilling to adapt & learn.”
