AFCON Qualifiers: Micho names final traveling squad to Egypt

Uganda Cranes head Coach Micho Sredjovic has named his final traveling Squad to Egypt to face Tanzania in the upcoming AFCON Qualifiers.

Among the dropped players include Gadaffi FC‘ Goalkeeper Joel Mutakubwa, Defenders Derrick Ndahiro, Gift Fred.

Lutalo Umar, Tabu Oryem, Masembe Edward , Ronald Madoi, Apollo Kagogwe and Geoffrey Wasswa were also dropped.

Midifielders dropped are Titus Ssematimba, Katongole Frank and forwards are John Paul Dembe, Mutebi Hakim and Frank Ssebufu.

On the Final squad 4 Hippos’Players have maintained their place including Travis Mutyaba, Rogers Mugisha, Rogers Torach and Isma Mugulusi.

Yesterday the squad has travelled to Egypt with 10 local players and 2 foreign based ( Charles Lukwaga and Halid Lwaliwa) who joined the Cranes camp earlier.

Other foreign based players will join the Cranes squad in Egypt from their respective clubs .

Uganda will host Tanzania on 24th at Suez canal Stadium in Egypt while they will visit on 28th this very month in Dar es Salaam at Benjamin Mpaka stadium.

Uganda are last with 1 point while Tanzania are 2nd last with also 1 point but a better goal difference.
