It seems like records keep following both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. The two are the undisputed best players of their generation.

And although Messi is without a doubt superior to the Portuguese in quite a number of aspects, choice always comes down to taste and preference amongst fans.

The two footballers have been scintillating for their nations in the just concluded international break.

Ronaldo scored 2 braces against Lichtenstein and Luxembourg.

Messi on the other hand bagged a 36 minute hattrick against Curaçao in a friendly game.

The PSG forward’s first goal of the night took him to the tally of 100 goals.
